Dr Corina Abu Rabia

GP

Qualifications: MD, Registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC), Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP),  Member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Ireland, ICGP Menopause Course, Registered SmearTaker, Certificate in Contraception, STIF (Sexually Transmitted Infections foundation course)

 

Dr Corina is originally from Romania, she graduated from “Grigore T. Popa” University. She worked in General Practice for 3 years in Iasi, and then she decided to move to Ireland and has been working in Dublin since 2015. 

During her training she gained experience working in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Neurology and General Surgery.

 

Dr Corina always wanted to be a GP and she feels very privileged and delighted to work as a family doctor and she enjoys paediatric medicine and mental health. She keeps up to date with regular attendance at formal training courses and workshops.

Dr Corina has 2 small children at home so she has personal and professional experience in the challenges of pregnancy and childhood. In her own words, she describes finding the balance between career path and personal life, including creative bits, parenting, shore walks in Portmarnock Beach and reading.
